Book a SessionWho I Am
For most of my law enforcement career, I served as a homicide detective. It was a role that required me to stay composed, analytical, and emotionally distant in the face of trauma and loss. Earlier in life, I also spent decades within a high-control belief system that shaped how I understood truth, obedience, and belonging. Over time, I began to see how both worlds had trained me to suppress emotion and rely on certainty instead of curiosity.
For years afterward, I carried a depression so heavy I couldn’t think or analyze my way out of it. The strategies that once kept me alive, including control, discipline, and pushing through, only made it worse. The harder I tried to fix myself, the further I sank.
What finally shifted everything wasn’t a technique or some perfect answer. It was surrender. Not giving up, but releasing the war I had been fighting inside myself. I found the courage to ask for help, and when I did, support came from many directions. People offered wisdom, presence, and perspectives I had never allowed myself to consider. Slowly, the light returned. Not because I became someone new, but because I stopped fighting who I already was.
As I healed, I learned to create space between myself and my thoughts. Instead of being swallowed by them, I began observing them. I labeled them, such as sadness, fear, anger, old stories, or old patterns, and each time I named one, it softened. A labeled thought is a thought disarmed. In that quiet space, awareness finally had room to breathe.
Over time I began to explore how consciousness works. I studied what pulls us into loops, what frees us, and how compassion shifts the entire pattern. Awareness, I learned, isn’t something you achieve. It is something you remember. Beneath the noise, beneath the coping, beneath the fear, there is already something whole.
What I offer isn’t perfection or answers. It is a mirror. Together we slow things down until you can see yourself again, not the version the world demanded, but the truth of who you already are.
“The moment you care about something other than yourself is the moment you stop being alone.”

“Awareness is remembering who you already are.”

Frequently Asked
How are sessions held?
Sessions are primarily held through Zoom so you can show up from anywhere in a space that feels safe to you. If you’re near Pasadena, I can also meet in person at a quiet coffee shop or outdoor location. Some people find in-person conversation more grounding, and I am happy to offer that option when it feels right.
What should I expect?
Expect a space where we slow things down enough to see what is actually happening inside you, before the thoughts take over and overwhelm sets in. Together we explore your patterns, the automatic reactions you have built over a lifetime, and the emotions underneath them. The work is about learning to recognize fear, sadness, tension, or pressure as they arise, instead of getting swept into the stories the mind creates. It is a process of becoming more curious about your own mind, questioning old assumptions, and discovering the difference between what you feel and what you think about what you feel.
Is everything confidential?
Always. What is said stays between us. This is a space of honesty, compassion, and zero pressure.
Can I reschedule?
Absolutely. Life happens. You can reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before your session directly through your Calendly confirmation email.
